Tampa, Florida (21 August 2015) – Air Culinaire Worldwide announced it is constructing a new 5,000-square-foot in-flight catering facility in San Francisco. The facility, which will quadruple the kitchen’s capacity, will be located directly across from San Francisco International Airport (KSFO / SFO) in south San Francisco.
“With the additional capacity, including an expanded hot food area and a massive refrigerated storage area, our new facility will enable us to better serve our clients’ missions, especially last-minute requests for international flights and large cabin aircraft operators.” said Cliff Smith, Chief Executive Officer.
The facility, set to open in December 2015, will also house a dedicated training room that will be utilized for Air Culinaire Worldwide’s Flight Crew Food Safety and Culinary Training. Training dates will be announced closer to the opening.
“As general manager of the San Francisco kitchen, I’m excited to have a new state-of-the art facility for providing exceptional in-flight catering for our clients,” said Saira Perez, General Manager, Air Culinaire Worldwide San Francisco. “I look forward to inviting our clients to the new facility to sample our regional specialties and meet the team.”
