National Hot Toddy Day

National Hot Toddy Day

National Hot Toddy Day (or, should we say “night?”) is January 11th in the United States. Some people believe this drink is the cure for the common cold. Others claim it is able to help them sleep, so this is a drink often times consumed before going to bed. A hot toddy is usually made with liquor, such as whiskey, rum or brandy; water with honey, sugar (in some recipes), herbs (like tea), and spices (like cinnamon)-  and is served hot. If you have a night flight and your passengers enjoy liquor, this may be a good option to try out onboard.
